THINGS TO SEE AND DO

When island hopping, consider visiting some of the less popular islands for a more authentic and peaceful experience. Some of the smaller islands like Vis, Hvar, and Korcula are worth exploring.

When visiting the National Parks, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes as there is a lot of walking involved. It’s also a good idea to bring a swimsuit and towel as there are plenty of opportunities for swimming and cooling off.

Dubrovnik can get very crowded during peak season, so try to visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. Additionally, the old town is best explored on foot, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs.

Mostar in Bosnia and Montenegro are both stunning destinations with rich history and culture, but be aware that crossing the border can sometimes take a long time. Plan accordingly and bring your passport.

If you’re interested in adventure activities like zip lining, make sure to book in advance as they can fill up quickly during peak season.

When exploring Zadar, be sure to visit the historic Old Town, which has beautiful Roman ruins and charming alleyways. The Sea Organ and Sun Salutation are also must-sees and are best enjoyed at sunset.

Finally, if you’re planning to rent a car in Croatia, be aware that the roads can be narrow and winding, especially along the coast. Take your time and drive carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.
